Data protection and security: Media competence, GDPR, & Co.
Our lives are digital. Data is generated everywhere: in private life, at work, at school. How can this data be stored securely? On your own hard drive, in the cloud, in the intranet? What options are there for data security, what do I do about hacking and data theft, and what must I legally observe (GDPR, national and EU laws)?
GDPR in 30 minutes
Ever since the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect, there is talk of data protection everywhere. But what does this have to do with me? What has changed and how can I implement the regulation in my profession? What do freelancers have to consider? In this seminar, data and media expert Christian Allner will discuss the legal aspects that journalists, photographers, social media managers, PR agents, and SMEs now have to consider in their daily work.
